CHINA , US - HACKING ISSUE - CAN WE TRUST BLOOMBERG'S REPORT ?

WHAT HAPPENED RECENTLY ? Bloomberg reported that China had inserted tiny chips into computer equipment manufactured for about 30 US companies, including Apple and Amazon , to steal its technologies secret , citing government and corporate sources . The report further said that the chips were used in equipment made for various US companies and government agencies. The magazine claimed that members of the 'People's Liberation Army'( China's Army ) snuck rice grain-sized microchips onto these key IT infrastructure components during the manufacturing process. BLOOMBERG'S SOURCES ? Bloomberg said its reporting derived from 17 unnamed sources , including "senior Apple insiders" and "senior national security officials". DIGI YATRA INITIATIVE - PAPERLESS AIR TRAVEL WILL SOON BE A REALITY

WHAT IS DIGI YATRA INITIATIVE ? Air passengers can soon use facial recognition technology to enter any airport in the country under the recently unveiled 'Digi Yatra Initiative'  by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. GRADUAL ROLL OUT With this initiative, the civil aviation ministry is looking to make ticket booking , airport entry and boarding pass security check in digital. The technology will soon be operational at Bengaluru and Hyderabad airports. The AAI of India Plans to roll out the initiative at Kolkata, , Varanasi, Pune and Vijayawada airports by April next year as per the ministry. KEY FEATURES Centralized Registration system for passengers and each of them would get a unique ID on booking the tickets. ID can be created by sharing name,email Id, mobile number and details of any identity proof, including Aadhar. WHAT JUST HAPPENED ? Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on September 26,2018 awarded with the prestigious UN champions of the Earth Award 2018 , the highest environmental honour of the United Nations. The UN Environment jointly awarded PM Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron in the Policy Leadership category for their efforts regarding the creation of the International Solar Alliance. PM Modi also pledge to eliminate all single use plastic in India by 2022. ABOUT THE AWARD This award has been given to the 6 (six ) world's most outstanding environmental change-makers. CRIMINALISATION OF POLTICS - SUPREME COURT VERDICT [TOP COURT LEAVE IT TO PARLIAMENT]

WHAT JUST HAPPENED ? WHY IN NEWS ? A five-judge Bench of the Supreme Court led by the Chief Justice of India recently gave its judgement on criminalisation of politics . The Supreme Court gave its judgement in case named - " Public Interest Foundation & Others v/s Union Of India" Here, In this case many people fill the PIL stated that there are many politicians   on which there are rape cases, murder cases and other criminal charges . Then, why these politicians given ticket in Elections. Why ticket not get cancelled of such politicians so that Politics will get clean. Many People and Other Media houses were expected that Supreme court will gave  a good decision.
