RUSSIA MAY INTERFERE IN INDIAN & BRAZIL ELECTIONS , WARNS OXFORD EXPERTS

BACKGROUND

 It was in news Russia interfere in US 2016 Election and Donald Trump accepted this, But Investigation is still in Progress in US.

 Next Indian General Election will be in 2019 and Next Brazilian General Election in October 2018.

 Recently there is in news that Russia may Interfere in Indian and Brazil General Election.

WHO SAID THIS - Russian Government may interfere in INDIAN and BRAZIL General Election.


Philip N. Howard, a professor of Internet studies at the oxford Internet Institute, made the statement during a hearing of the Senate Intelligence Committee on foreign influence on social media platform.

 The main thing, is statement is not given in Media, But It's given in US Senate Intelligence Committee And Whatever Theory anyone presents there its should be after proper study with facts. 

 US Senate Intelligence Committee also investigating the 2016 Russian Interference in 2016 US General Election.

 WHAT KIND OF INTERFERENCE THIS IS

 This is not something interference with Voting Machine. But  - Changing the Public Opinion through social media. This kind of Interference (Meddling) could happen.

 Russian Hackers can hack emails (Like did during the time of 2016 US Election).
Russian hackers may target Indian media to influence elections, says Oxford professor.

Here, in Theory given by Philip N. Howard only about Russia, But any foreign power can interfere in this to get long terms Geo-political gains.

 So, every foreign power wants that government in another country who favour them.

 This meddling can be done with any democratic country.

 The situation could be more dangerous for India , Brazil and other democratic countries where media is not as professional as that of US.
