Recent News:

As we know J&K is the International issue. And due to adverse reporting on Kashmir by the foreign media outlets.

Government of India (i.e Ministry of External Affairs) pull out his rule book and Reminded the foreign journalist about "Foreigners (Protected Areas) Order 1958 and advising them to take prior permission to visit Jammu & Kashmir.

From last so many years - government is taking these rule lightly and many foreign journalist not took permission to visit and even many not aware of this rule.

So, Ministry of External Affairs sent out the letters to the Foreign Media Outlets just to remind them about these orders as many of the journalist not took prior permission to visit Kashmir. (In fact they took permission to visit North East Part of India).
